Jessica Ellen Cornish is a British singer and songwriter who was born on 27 th March of 1988 in London, United Kingdom. Her career began with only 11 years old, when she participated in the musical Whistle Down the Wind.

With 18 years old Jessie J suffered a mild stroke, something that led her to take care of her health and decide she wasn't going to smoke, drink, nor use drugs.

The singer's biography treasures a story of overcoming not only in relation to her health. In her own words, went from “not be really good at something” to be considered by the singer Justin Timberlake as “the best singer in the world at the moment”.

Who You Are was her first studio album. Released on the market 25 th of February of 2011, Jessie J's debut album sold more than a million copies in the UK alone and entered the best-seller lists internationally.
